In this role, you will be responsible for driving the development of our user facing applications. This includes development of medical viewers, AI evaluation tools, mobile applications and others. Be the technical senior lead for the applications team and manage the workload of the technical team. Opportunities to grow into a technical lead role, including line management if desired.
Your Challenge
Develop current and new applications for the deepc ecosystem
Lead projects from a technical and team management perspective from conception to implementation
Add features and functionality to our current applications
Explore additional products and features with the team to assess feasibility
Manage a team of mid-level / junior engineers
Lead by example to develop technical excellence for deepc’s applications
Interact with product, design and developers to find good solutions to implement features / products in a lean way to generate learnings
Run pair programming and code reviews with developers
Ensure deepc’s applications have high robustness and reliability
Work with the Tech leads to align on technical strategies and improve the quality of our engineering for all teams
Cooperate with product manager and other team members
Analytical, structured, thoughtful and diligent
Pragmatic, problem-solving mindset
Open and cooperative with team members at all levels
Your profile
Completed studies in computer science or a numerical degree
5+ years of experience in software development
Fluency in Python is mandatory.
Being proficient in, or committed to become proficient in the Rust programming language, C++ background is a plus
FE skills knowledge or experience are a plus
Fluency in English (German is a plus)
Strong problem solving skills
Ability to work well in a dynamic environment
Experience leading small teams and managing other software engineers is a plus
Mobile development experience is a bonus
